New York Fashion Week Co-Design with Tanner Fletcher and ETSY
Recently I was selected by Tanner Fletcher and Etsy to co-design some neckwear for their NYFW Bridal Runway show, which was full of whimsy and details that makes you feel something. The moment the bowties I created, came onto the floor, I could not believe I was there and my pieces were being seen by so many happy couples, looking to get inspiration for their upcoming nuptuals, along with press, and of course, Etsy who guided the whole process from start to finish...Read a little more below on how it all went down!

Etsy contacted me in the beginning of March with a very exciting opportunity to co-design some neckwear for Tanner Fletchers Happily Ever After Collection for New York Fashion Week. They expressed interest in having me look at their mood board to see what I came up with.

Etsy was the center of this exciting moment and we got to spend a bit of time with the Etsy members celebrating and going to events. They invited me to NYC to attend the New York Fashion Week Bridal Show with Tanner Fletcher to see the pieces on the runway in person, and extended for my husband to come with me. I've only been to NYC once before and it was only for 3 days. This was 5 days and I was feeling pretty nervous but very excited.
From the moment we started discussions with Etsy and Tanner Fletcher, it felt warm and welcoming.
Day One
The first full day we were invited by the Etsy team to join them at abc concina for lunch. We got to meet them as well as the other two Etsy sellers involved in the co-designs, whichgoose makes gorgeous veils, and the lace invitations by UTWOStudio.
Later that night, we arrived to St. Bartholomew's Church to meet up with everyone and find our seats. EEEEK! it's time!

Day Two
The next day after the show, we were invited to take a tour of Etsy HQ with Abby, one of the Etsy's community engagement manager who had been in contact with us over these past few weeks. She was lovely, and kind and soft around the edges and not at all afraid of a good pun. ; )

After we got out of the Etsy HQ, We decided to take a walk around and check out a few vintage shops before my phone died. lol. Then we walked across the Manhatten Bridge, because the view was supposed to be spectacular, which it was!

Day Three

The Wedding Fair
Hosted by Tanner Fletcher

On day 3, we had a brunch with some media, couples, Etsy staff and the other Etsy brands before the main Wedding Fair upstairs open to the public and media.
It sounds so silly, but this was the most bougie I've ever been treated, stunning croissants, fresh berries and yogurt, avocado toast, bacon, and hash browns. The brunch was SO GOOD! And we sat and chatted with the other guests while playing a cute game of "I spy" which my husband won. Of course he did.
